Five Merlots To Tease Your Tastebuds

Juicy, plummy, and easy-to-drink, these five merlots will tease your tastebuds with sweet and spicy notes.

Rumi once said “Either give me more wine or leave me alone,” and I am sure all wine lovers would agree to it.

If we are talking about wine, how can we not talk about Merlot! Merlot is the most all-rounded wine of red grapes. Its origin lies in Bordeaux. Nonetheless, it is now popping up around the world, aided by its juicy, plummy flavours and its easy-to-drink appeal.

As a blend, Merlot helps shape some classic Bordeaux styles, while on its own it has found favour in countries such as Australia, Argentina, Chile, and South Africa.
