The London Competitions - a global platform for wine, spirits, and beer, has always celebrated the art of beverages by bringing together industry experts, showcasing the finest drinks, and highlighting the stories behind them. The Ambassador Program is a vital extension of this mission, connecting the competition with passionate professionals who elevate beverage culture in their regions. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce three outstanding individuals to the Ambassador Program: Mihaela Cojocaru DipWSET, Daniel Stojcic, and Andrea Fiesoli.
Each of these ambassadors brings their unique expertise, dedication, and regional focus to help London Competitions expand its presence and inspire beverage professionals worldwide. Let’s meet them and dive into their regions and passions.
With over 18 years in the wine industry, Mihaela Cojocaru DipWSET has established herself as a powerhouse of knowledge and innovation. Based in Italy, Mihaela focuses on bridging tradition with modern marketing and export strategies. From her work as an export coach and WSET educator to her role as a digital marketing specialist, she has helped countless wineries reach international markets.
Mihaela’s passion for Italy, particularly the southern gem of Primitivo, aligns beautifully with her role as an ambassador. Primitivo, a bold and robust varietal with a rich history, reflects the spirit of southern Italy—warm, expressive, and full of character. By promoting Primitivo, Mihaela aims to shed light on the varietal's potential on the global stage, celebrating the craftsmanship of Italian winemakers.

Through her consulting, writing, and teaching, Mihaela empowers wine professionals and wineries to succeed. Her book, Metodo WINExcel, and her podcast SoMe Wine showcase her expertise in internationalization and marketing. As an ambassador, Mihaela is excited to represent Italy and help wineries unlock new opportunities through the London Wine Competition’s platform.
Daniel Stojcic’s journey to becoming a sommelier is nothing short of inspiring. After transitioning from tech to hospitality, he worked tirelessly to pursue his dream, eventually earning the title of “Best Sommelier in Ireland” in 2020—even before working as a sommelier full-time. His passion, determination, and competitive spirit have since made him one of the most promising sommeliers in the industry.
Now based in the UK, Daniel represents Chianti Classico, the historic heart of Tuscany’s wine industry. Known for its Sangiovese-based wines, Chianti Classico has undergone a renaissance in recent years, with a strong shift toward organic farming and a renewed focus on quality. Sangiovese, with its vibrant acidity, cherry notes, and ability to age gracefully, is the crown jewel of the region.

For him, the profession is about more than serving wine; it’s about becoming a regional specialist and telling the stories behind the glass. As a London Wine Competition ambassador, Daniel is eager to showcase the elegance of Chianti Classico and inspire the next generation of sommeliers.
Born in Florence and now living in the picturesque Mugello Valley, Andrea Fiesoli is the embodiment of Tuscany’s vibrant spirit culture. As the founder and CEO of Tuscany Liquors, Andrea has dedicated his career to exploring, crafting, and sharing the finest spirits. A certified sommelier and expert mixologist, Andrea combines his love for tradition with a creative approach to spirits innovation.
Tuscany is not only home to iconic wines but also to a thriving spirits scene. From grappa and amaro to innovative liquors inspired by local ingredients, the region’s craft spirits capture the essence of Italian craftsmanship. Andrea’s mission is to bring these unique flavors to the world, sharing the stories and traditions that make Tuscan spirits so special.
As a London Spirits Competition ambassador, Andrea will highlight the depth and diversity of Tuscany’s spirits while promoting global appreciation for artisanal beverages. His passion for travel, food, and culture fuels his commitment to celebrating the connections that drinks create.
The London Competitions - encompassing wine, spirits, and beer - stand out by focusing on more than just taste. Each beverage is judged on three critical criteria: quality, value, and packaging. This unique approach ensures that products resonate with both industry professionals and everyday consumers.
The competition has become a hub for international brands looking to gain recognition, build networks, and connect with buyers. By appointing ambassadors like Mihaela, Daniel, and Andrea, the London Competitions strengthen their global reach, fostering a deeper understanding of regional beverage cultures and trends.
