They will be listed in no particular order as the list is completely independent.

1. Hugh Johnson OBE

He is a true wine icon and monument of wine knowledge. He is one of the world’s best-selling wine writers and expert, produced the famous Pocket Wine Book and The World Atlas of Wine, first published in 1977 as well as the book  A Life Uncorked. Hugh Johnson writes articles for Decanter, Gourmet, Vogue, House & Garden, The New York Times, Wine Times, The World of Fine Wine and other publications. Also, he wrote for The Sunday Times and eventually became an editor for the wine section and then the travel section of the paper. He is as well a passionate gardening fan with written books on the theme.

2. Andrew Jefford

Our next wine writer is another English journalist written numerous books and a and award-winning columnist for the Decanter magazine. Jefford is also contributing editor to the magazine The World of Fine Wine, BBC radio and The Evening Standard. He has written the famous Andrew Jefford’s WINE COURSE, The New France and Whiskey Island. He is as well an international wine judge.

3. Julia Harding MW

Julia is an extraordinary wine writer, educator, journalist and Master of Wine specialising in the grape varieties. She is the main assistant of the living wine legend Jancis Robinson and hers www.JancisRobinson.com with subscribers in more than 100 different countries. She has written the book Wine Grapes, which is like an encyclopedia of the grapes in the world together with Jancis. Julia has won many awards like the Special Award in the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards in 2009, as well as the Portuguese Wine Writer of the Year in 2012.

4. Antonio Galloni

He is one of the most respected wine critics, and writer started his career by the Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate magazine. He has become the leading reviewer in no time and has gained the favours of the wine community. At the moment he is the head of the highly trusted Vinous web platform, where he focuses on wine regions from Italy, Champagne, Burgundy and California. He is still writing some of the most influential publications in the world.

5. Robert Owen Clarke OBE - Oz Clarke

The next person is a British award-winning wine writer, presenter, educator and broadcaster. He is one of the leading wine experts in the world, and some of the best books he has written are The History of Wine in 100 Bottles, Bordeaux, Grapes & Wines with Margaret Rand, World of Wine and Wine by the Glass. He has taken part in numerous TV wine shows on BBC TV and radio and has countless writing awards.

6. Eric Asimov

The next person is Eric Asimov, wine writer as well as a wine & food critic for The New York Times. His ability to write about wine and his passion for it has granted him one of the leading wine roles on the wine scene in the United States. He is the author of the charming and intelligently written book How to Love Wine, as well as the best-selling Wine with Food. He has been giving wine bits of advice for the past 18 years through the pages of the NY Times, a thing which he loves to do every day.

7. Tom Stevenson

The next wine writer has more than 30 years of experience in wine writing and is considered to be as one of today's most prolific wine authors, as Stevenson is regarded as the world's leading expert on Champagne. With more than 20 books behind including the legendary annual Wine Report, The Sotheby’s Wine Encyclopedia and Christie's World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine. He is also wine critic, judge, journalist and presenter.

8. Rajat Parr

He is an Indian-American sommelier become a winemaker, who is a wine educator and a wine writer. Rajat is one of the most celebrated sommeliers and author of Secrets of the Sommeliers in collaboration with Jordan Mackay, which won the 2011 James Beard Cookbook Award. And later Parr and Mackay co-authored The Sommelier's Atlas of Taste in 2018. He has deep knowledge of the wine and has many relations with wine producers alongside great tasting skills made him a legend in the industry.
