Wine Importers were established in 1975 to meet a growing demand for interesting wines with a Global difference; their Company was ahead of its time then and still is now. Today they are striving to maintain the personal levels of service that were the norm in the founder’s time and not treat customers as just ‘account numbers’. Nowadays their range is the most extensive and innovative in Scotland and because of their reputation the best known wine producers want them to represent them.

Raeburn Fine Wines have tasted and travelled over many years to bring the list to its present state, and are delighted to be able to offer many exciting new discoveries as well as previously selected wines from some of the world’s finest producers. Their general policy of collaborating closely and dealing directly with carefully chosen producers continues to prove richly rewarding for them. Developing personal and professional long-term relationships allows them to access helpful information and precious stocks of carefully cellared, fully mature wines from older vintages which often need many years to reveal their splendours. As always they offer all of the wines and spirits here in the confident hope that customer would derive as much pleasure from producers as they do – now and far into the future.

As a wine import business located in Linlithgow, Scotland, Linlithgow Wines offer the U.K. a variety of French wines imported directly from small family run vineyards, mostly in the southern wine producing regions.
Linlithgow Wines was established in 2001, turning a life-long hobby into a small business. Frustrated that the U.K. wine market offered French wine that was produced in industrial quantities and was thus non-descript, or top named Chateaux priced for City bankers, our aim has been to offer small production, hand-made wines, with character and taste, which also give great value for money.
They source their wines directly from the producers of mainly the southern regions of the Languedoc and Roussillon, plus some Rhone, Bordeaux, Provence, Chablis and Champagne. They intend to extend to other regions, however they found in the south of France such variety and value, and such dynamism and enthusiasm from the producers, that they have lingered. They will hope that you enjoy honest wine mainly from family-run vineyards which are run with respect to nature and the environment.

Wine Raks are independent wine merchant purveyors of quality wines, vintage port, Malt Whiskies and fine spirits from around the Globe. They have been operating in Aberdeen Scotland since 1983 with the single aim to bring you quality, fine and rare wines, in all price ranges. Quality for quality their wines represent better value for money than the multiples and supermarkets and they are also aware of the fact that they have a distinct edge over producers in terms of quality. "The best things come in small parcels" especially applies to fine and rare wines, and it is simply not feasible for multiple retailers to deal with a whole host of great wine producers who only make small amounts of their wine. Here at Wine Raks, however, they do not have to supply hundreds of shops in hundreds of towns, so they are able to find these distinctly individual wines just for consumers. They also offer these fine and rare gems online for those who seek distinctive and individual collection of fine and rare wines, ports and malt whiskies.

WoodWinters opened their first shop in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling in Scotland in 2005. From day one the mission was to help their customers drink better wine. Buying wine should be a pleasure and they do all they could to make their service friendly and personal. They encourage a sense of fun and adventure to help their customers enjoy wines that are a cut above the rest.
This approach has seen them grow and after opening their second shop in Edinburgh their third followed in Inverness in 2016. The growing portfolio of quality and value means they also supply many of Scotland and the UK's top hotels and restaurants. And in 2017 they opened their London office to further promote and support the work of their many wonderful producers.
All this hard work (and great wines) has seen them voted not just the IWC Scottish Merchant of the year multiple times but also Decanter's UK Retailer of the Year and we are consistently recognised as one of the UK's top independents.

They are wine merchants (VinumTerra is Latin for “wine of the world”) traditionally specialising in Italian wines and are now extending their portfolio into wines from the rest of the world. They are currently representing 47 estates and 191 wines from Italy and 38 estates and 85 wines from the rest of the world.
They were established in 1991 by Angelo Cane, who trained as an oenologist at Alba Oenological School and they focus on producers who can make good quality wine year after year, with the distinctive flavour and the typical taste of the grapes and the region.
Many of the wineries they deal with are small to medium sized and often family owned and run. But we also represent some of the most dynamic co-ops in Italy. The awards their wines win at events such as the International Wine Challenge, Decanter World Wine, International Wine and Spirit Competition and in Gambero Rosso and various magazine tastings as well as the press comments are testament to the effectiveness of this philosophy.

Exel Wines officially began in 2009 as a trader of fine wines, largely in Bordeaux First Growths. However, prior to this, having started off in the restaurant industry, wine was already an important part of their life. Exel Wines is an independent company based in Perth, Scotland where they have a shop as well as their main warehouse and offices. The shop at 47 South St is a small but perfectly formed Aladdin’s Cave of fine wine, rare whisky, all manner of spirits and liqueurs as well as some carefully selected Scottish beers and ciders. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly – they relish the opportunity to spend time chatting to like-minded people and are always happy to help.
