Barbara Drew, Master of Wine and Event Manager at Berry Bros. & Rudd, started serving BBR in 2011. Now she oversees all the private events in their St. James’s Street Cellars. She hosts a range of events including dinners, lunches, tastings, and courses on wine and spirits.

Barbara is curious and passionate about unusual, unknown or unloved wine regions. She also loves experimenting with pairing food and wine. She achieved the Master of Wine in 2018, and she believes that wine is the most rewarding subject to study, as there is always something exciting to explore.

In 2020, Barbara is going to appear in the leading judges panel at the 3rd edition of London Wine Competition. Accompanying her would be other judges including Simon Field MW, Philip Harden MW, Tim Triptree MW, Demetri Walters MW, and other leading wine buyers and sommeliers.

She and the other judges at 2020 London Wine Competition will be judging a huge array of wines, in three specific aspects – Quality, Value, and Packaging. The judging will take place on March 24-25, 2019 in London.
